Our elementary classes have two co-teachers and a parent volunteer. At least one co-teacher is fluent in Spanish - or Spanish may even be their first language. Research shows that it is easier to teach language proficiency at a young age. Our program is fun, interactive, and comprehensive for developing skills as a Spanish speaker. ILI can help students develop a distinguished and valuable lifelong skill. Additionally, students and their families can utilize their Spanish skills in real world experiences by joining our Martin Luther King family volunteer trip to the Dominican Republic, working side-by-side with elementary children in the Dominican Republic.
Instruction that is student-centered and proficiency-based. We are meeting the students where they are while incorporating research-based strategies.
